The marina wrote it

Almost every directory reprints the marina's own copy, which will never mention the surge, the bora or the pontoon that moves. Ours are written here and the marina is shown the entry, not asked to supply it.

Depths at low water springs

Not chart datum, not the dredged design depth from 2009. What a keel actually finds at the worst state of tide, updated when a berth holder tells us the entrance has silted.

Exposure by direction

"Sheltered" is meaningless. Every entry names the wind and swell directions that make it uncomfortable and the berths within it that take the worst of them.

Every entry carries its date

A marina that was excellent in 2019 may have changed hands twice. If we have not verified an entry in two years it says so at the top, in the same size as everything else.
